The deadline for the edie awards has been extended to July 10.
Those hoping to get in a last minute entry for the Awards for Environmental Excellence now have an extra week to complete it. The decision to extend the deadline follows last week's announcement that the edie project awards will now join other leading environmental awards at the top table of UK schemes. The edie awards received RSA accreditation which means winners can now go forward to enter the coveted European Business Awards for the Environment where they will compete with the best in Europe to be crowned continental champions. Edie runs awards in the following categories: ·Carbon Reduction ·Water & Wastewater ·Local Government Initiative ·Green Retail Initiative ·Renewable Energy ·Sustainable Construction ·Green Corporate Initiative ·Waste & Recycling For more information on the scheme please visit http:www/edie.net/awards.
