Euroby, Flottwegs UK and Ireland distributor is proud to announce that the new C-Series decanter centrifuge gives operational cost savings of up to 30% whilst maximizing separation efficiency - coupled with lower investment costs the C-Series has the best price/performance ratio in the market.

With its 7500th centrifuge, Flottweg has again proven its capacity for innovation. Minimal Operating Costs

The optimal machine geometry of the new C-Series dramatically reduces electrical power consumption. Efficient acceleration of the product in the feed zone combined with very specific internal scroll designs result in smaller installed horsepower requirements and lower overall power consumption of the motors (up to 20-30%). In addition, existing customers confirm the current configuration of the new C-Series maximises both reliability and availability.

Lower Investment Costs

Due to higher internal sedimentation volume, the capacity of a similar-sized machine is increased by 10-20%, which results in lower investment costs since it is now possible to use a smaller machine for the same feed rate without a reduction in processing performance. This helps the user to overcome capacity bottlenecks without sacrificing centrate or discharged cake quality.

More than 50 decanters of the new C-Series have been installed since the Summer of 2008 and operated in different waste water applications including the dewatering and thickening of sewage sludge - all with excellent results.

The three models currently available; C3E, C4E, and C5E enable processing ranges from 10 - 90 m3/hr (44 - 396 gpm). The market has responded strongly to Flottweg's new lower power decanter centrifuge range with increased orders exceeding all initial forecast expectations.
